Achillea Clavennae Infused Brandy Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals!

Are you looking for an awesome Achillea Clavennae Infused Brandy Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further; you have just found what you have been looking for! This is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Achillea Clavennae Infused Brandy Recipe in the world.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • about 10 Achillea Clavennae fresh blooms
  • 1 liter Grappa
Step 2
  • 3-4leaves of lemon verbena
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 bitter orange peel
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Utensils Tips

Here is a list of the simplest utensils that you can use; the ones Mom should already have in the kitchen:)

Utensils:
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for bottling and serving, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.

Directions

Step 1

Combined Achillea Clavennae with the grappa in the container that you will be using to age in. Make sure that the nuts are totally submerged in the grappa. Cover and close the container.

Aging, Straining, and Drinking Your Achillea Clavennae Infused Brandy

Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for a minimum 1 month.

Step 2

After the 1st month add the rest of the ingredients and let it age for another month.

After a combined 2 months of aging, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

You can add water for a lighter taste, though I suggest that you use clear mineral water. I have found that tap water can make your alcohol cloudy.

If you feel that your liqueur is to sharp you can add a little more sugar. To strong of a taste? add some more grappa or filtered water, though I do suggest go easy you have waited 2 months you don’t want to mess it up now!

Congratulations, You Have Completed Making this Awesome Achillea Clavennae Infused Brandy

You now need a bottle and a label which are cool enough to compliment your hard work. Honestly, if you put it into a cheap bottle, people will make fun of you. BUT, if it looks good, people will rave about it!

Notes on Utensils and Ingredients

  • Glass is always preferable when working with strong alcohol. Avoid plastic as much as possible.
  • Use organic ingredients to avoid pesticide residues.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 1 lb. (450 g) fresh cloudberries
  • 3 cups (710 ml) vodka or 1 1/2 cup pure grain alcohol
  • 1 1/2 cup water
Step 2
  • 1 1/2 cup (350 g) sugar

Utensils Tips

Here is a list of the simplest utensils that you can use; the ones Mom should already have in the kitchen:)

Utensils:
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for bottling and serving, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.

Directions

Step 1

Step 2

Add the sugar when you are at the stage of bottling as instructed below.

Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Cloudberry Grappa Liqueur

Agitate daily during the first 7 days, then at least once a week for 3-4 weeks.

Next filter the mixture or just remove the of berries and transfer the liquid back into the jar.

Add the sugar and shake until dissolved.

After the additional 3-4 of aging, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

(It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly)

Add some more sugar if necessary. The liqueur should mellow for at least 6 months before drinking, preferably for 12 months.

Utensils

I am listing the simplest utensils that you can use, the ones mom should have already have in the kitchen.
Utensils:
– A large glass jar (I used a 3 liter jar)
 large plastic bowl
– measuring cups (liquid and dry)
– metal strainer
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.

Notes on Utensils:

Avoid plastic as much as possible when working with strong alcohol. Glass is always preferable.

Filteing and Drinking your Liqueur

After the steeping time is over. Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Plum liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer. When you are done straining, you can discard all of the rind, pulp and any spices.

Return the liquid to the jar, for best taste let your A Plum Liqueur age for another month in a cool dry place.

Congratulations, On Completing This Awesome Plum Liqueur Recipe

You now need a bottle, and a label, that is cool enough to compliment your hard work. Honestly if it looks good people will rave about it. If you put it into a cheap bottle people will make fun of you.
