Peach Infused Brandy D.I.Y.

Honey Infused Brandy D.I.Y.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 of a cup of Honey (preferably floral)
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 2 cups of brandy
  • 1/2 a stick of cinnamon
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 piece of cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon Mint
  • Pinch Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda

Directions

Mix water, honey, spices, and soda in a cooking pot.

Simmer for a half hour stirring from time to time. Don’t heat hotter then you can touch.

and then strain through 2-3 layers of cheesecloth, removing the remaining spices.

Pour the filtered mixture into a glass jar, add vodka or brandy and stir.

Seal the jar and leave for 20-30 days in cold dark place. Shake once every 5 days.

Filter the obtained drink through cheesecloth and cotton wool and then age it in a cellar for another 10-15 days.

Ginger Brandy Liqueur Recipe

Ingriedients

Step 1
  • 2 ounces of ginger
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
Step 2
  • 1 orange
  • 1 1/2 cups of brandy

Utensils

Directions

Step 1

Slice the ginger into thin slices a half dollar thick, and split the vanilla bean in half.

Pour the water into a pot put add the ginger and vanilla into the pot bring to a boil then stir in the sugar let boil till the ginger is soft which should be about 20 minutes.

Take off the stove and let cool.

Step 2

Juice the orange scrape out the white pith and place the peel into the your container that you will use for aging.

Add the to the randy into the aging container and then pour in the cooled off syrup from stage 1.

After 1 day remove the vanilla bean, then let age for at least 1 more day.

Straining your moonshine to make it clear, strain the liquid through a cheesecloth squeezing the pulp gently. (don’t do all at once make sure you like the taste when filtered)

Pear Liqueur Recipe!

Hay Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Pear Liqueur Recipe Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Pear Liqueur Recipe in the world.

Pear Liqueur Recipe what you’ll need

Ingredients for step 1.
  1. 1 ripe pears, divided (organic preferred)
  2. 1 vanilla bean
  3. 1 cup brandy or vodka
Directions, step 1
  1. Wash and chop up the pear, discard the seeds and the core. You can peal the pear and if you choose to do it before you chop it. I like to leave the skin on I find that it gives the Peas Liqueur more depth and flavor.
  2. Now split and scrape the vanilla bean.
  3. Place your chopped up pear and the vanilla bean in your glass jar and cover with brandy, make sure no pear is sticking out from under the brandy. The jarshould have enough room to add another cup of liquid if you choose to do step 2.
  4. Seal and shake, then let steep for at least 2 days in a cool dry place.
  5. After two days remove the vanilla bean, and then let the pear liqueur steep for another 3 days.
  6. The infusion and steeping process of step 1 should be a minuimum of five days.
Step 2 make and add as needed
  1. 1 ripe pears, divided (organic preferred)
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup water
Step 2

Step 2, is needed when you feel your Pear Liqueur is not sweet enough. This can happen because of pear variety or ripeness.

  1. After a total of five days, chop up the second pear, discarding the seeds and core.
  2. Add it to a pot, along with the water and sugar, then stir and bring to a boil on medium heat, about 5 to 7 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Let the syrup mixture cool.
  3. Once cooled, pour the syrup (with the fruit) into the steeping jar. Shake and let steep for 2 days.

Utensils

I am listing the simplest utensils that you can use, the ones mom should have already have in the kitchen.
Utensils:
– A large glass jar (I used a 3 liter jar)
 large plastic bowl
– measuring cups (liquid and dry)
– metal strainer
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one. 

Notes on Utensils:

Avoid plastic as much as possible when working with strong alcohol. Glass is always preferable. Or food grade plastic is always preferable.

Filteing and Drinking your Pear Liqueur

After either step one or two depending when your desired flavor is achieved. Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.
