Achillea Clavennae Grappa Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

Ingredients

Step 1
  •  1 dozen fresh inflorescences of Achillea Clavennae
  • 1 liter of Grappa
Step 2 Optional
  • leaves of Cedrina
  • vanilla fruit
  • Cinnamon
  • Bitter orange peel
  • Brown sugar
    Leave a dozen fresh inflorescences of Achillea Clavennae to macerate in Grappa for a month and then leave to mature for another month.

– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for bottling and serving, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one. 

Instructions:

Step 1

Combined the Achillea Clavennae in a container and let age for a month.

Aging, Straining, Filtering, and Drinking Your Achillea Clavennae Grappa Liqueur

Step 2

Remove the Achillea Clavennae and add in the optional ingredients that are to your liking.

Taste when it is to your taste I would suggest to taste it every 24 hours. Use a cheesecloth to filter, once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Let age for another 1 more month.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 200 g medlar seeds
  • 1 liter of Grappa
Step 2
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
Step 3
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • some rose petal

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

A Grappa Nespolino is prepared by macerating 200 g of medlar seeds for about 10 days in the sun, so that they are peeling spontaneously.

The peeled seeds are then placed in your glass bottle together with one liter of Grappa.

Step 2

Boil the water in the saucepan then add sugar while stirring to prevent the sugar from burning. When the sugar is dissolved and the sugar water is clear turn off the fire let cool then add to liqueur jar.

Step 3

Finally add a vanilla pod and some rose petals, close your jar and its ready for the ages.

Aging Straining, filtering, and Drinking your Nespolino Liqueur

The maceration meaning the time the leaves are soaking in the grappa will last one month and the aging process six months.

After 1 month carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Nespolino Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

Place back into your aging container and let age for another 6 months.

Finnaly add water to taste if needed.

I am listing the simplest utensils that you can use, the ones mom should have already have in the kitchen.

– A large glass jar (I used a 3 liter jar) 
 large plastic bowl
– measuring cups (liquid and dry)

Finnaly ad water to taste if needed.

Wall Germander Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals!

Are you looking for an awesome Wall Germander Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further; you have just found what you have been looking for! This is the most awesome tasting Wall Germander Liqueur Recipe in the world.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 50 fresh leaves of the wall germander
  • 1 liter of Grappa
  • 1 dozen flowering tops
  • 1 lemon peel
Step 2
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 glass of water

Utensils Tips

Here is a list of the simplest utensils that you can use; the ones Mom should already have in the kitchen:)

Utensils:
– cheesecloth
– Knife
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for bottling and serving, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one. 

Instructions:

Step 1

In the beginning of the spring before the germanders blossom pick fifty fresh leaves and place them in a liter of Grappa.

Later in the summer when the plant is blossoming, pick another dozen flowering tops and add them to the mixture.

Add the Lemon peel being careful that you do not put in the pith meaning any of the white bitter stuff.

Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Wall Germander Liqueur

Step 1

Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for at least 1 month.

Step 2

Boil the water in a sauce pan then slowly add sugar while stirring to make sure that the sugar does not burn. When the sugar water is clear turn off the fire and let cool.

When your sugar water is cooled off add to your grappa and le age for 1 month.

Step 3

Strain your liqueur through the cheesecloth.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

After filtering put back into container and let it age for at least 9 months 12 months for perfection .

  • Glass is always preferable when working with strong alcohol. Avoid plastic as much as possible.
