Yuzu Infused Vodka D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Yuzu Infused Vodka Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Yuzu Infused Vodka in the world.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of rum or vodka
  • 10-14 Yuzu’s, (size dependent)
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar

Directions

Peel your yuzu’s, this includes scrape off the white part of the peel, to minimize bitterness.

juice them.

place all the ingredients into your glass jar, and shut making sure the fruit is completely covered in alcohol.

(you can add the peel, I don’t recommend because it is bitter and if not organic full of pesticide’s)

Aging, Straining, and Drinking Your Yuzu Infused Vodka

Let recipe steep for two weeks in a cool dark place, agitating daily.

Next step strain the liquid and fruit through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you cangently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Yuzu Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

Water down to taste.

Instant Coffee Infused Vodka D.I.Y.

How to Make this awesome Instant Coffee Infused Vodka,

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Instant Coffee Infused Vodka? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Instant Coffee Infused Vodka in the world.

Ingredients

You can use any instant coffee of your choice. It could be regular instant coffee or decaffeinated instant coffee.

You don’t have to use vodka. You can use rum, dark rum, brandy or cognac. In addition, you can also combine the liquors. For example, you can do half vodka and half brandy.

Instructions

Dissolve the brown sugar in a pan with hot water. Add instant coffee and mix well. Let it cool down. Pour coffee into a jar. Add the pure vanilla extract and vodka. Stir well.

If you prefer to use vanilla bean instead of vanilla extract, split one bean lengthwise and add it to the coffee. Remove the vanilla bean after four weeks.

Aging, Straining, And Drinking Your Coffee Infused Vodka

Let recipe steep for a miniumun of one month in a cool dark place, agititating often, after one month it should be thoroughly infused.

Next step strain the liquid and fruit through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you cangently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Coffee Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals looking for a Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur?

You now have no reason to look any further, you have just found what you are looking for! This is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur in the world.

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups dark rum (80 proof)
  • 1 vanilla bean (Madagascar or Bourbon), split
  • 6 prunes, coarsely chopped
  • 1¾ cups pure maple syrup, preferably grade B

Directions

Split your vanilla bean chop up your prunes and combined with the rest of your ingredients in your container close and shake.

Aging and Straining Your Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur

Let liqueur age for 6 weeks in a cool dark place.

While the liqueur is aging, give the jar a good shake once or twice a week to agitate and enhance the infusion.

After 6 weeks of infusing, it’s time to strain your liqueur.

Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice (the fourth photo).

After straining, you can discard all of the rind, pulp and any spice.

Strain back into the large container if you are going to do step 2.

Otherwise you can go straight to bottling.

Hyuganatsu Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

Coconut Liqueur Recipe

Hey Guys and Gals!

Ingredients

Step 1

1 Coconut
3 cups of rum

Step 2

1.5 cups water
12 oz. by weight white sugar

Utensils

Step 1

Hardware:
1 screwdriver
1 Vegetable peeler
1 Hammer (May or may not need)
1 Drill and drill bit (May or may not need)
1 Colander or large strainer to wash the peeled coconut meat

Step 2

1 medium pot
1 Rubber spatula for stirring
1 food processor with shredder disc (or box grater)
2 1L glass jars or one 2L glass jar. Wide mouth will really help. Mason jars work great

Instructions

Step 1

Opening the coconut.

Get your drill, put in a new, or clean bit, drill through two of the eyes then let the milk drain into the container. You will not be using the coconut milk for your liqueur, it will make it cloudy.

Place the coconut fruit in the oven at 375 Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.

Remove the coconut and let cool when cool remove the shell by banging with a hammer then prying off with a screw driver or plyers

Now that you have the removed the shell, peel off the skin with a peeler and rinse well.

Shred the coconut in a food processor or a grater.

Combined the Coconut and rum into your container.

Step 2

Combined the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Add the sugar water to the Jar and stir. Make sure the coconut is completely submerged.

Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Coconut Liqueur

Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for 2-3 weeks.

Agitate the jar every few days to encourage extraction.

After your waited for a minimum of 2 weeks, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Ingredients

You can use any instant coffee of your choice. It could be regular instant coffee or decaffeinated instant coffee.

You don’t have to use vodka. You can use rum, dark rum, brandy or cognac. In addition, you can also combine the liquors. For example, you can do half vodka and half brandy.

Instructions

Dissolve the brown sugar in a pan with hot water. Add instant coffee and mix well. Let it cool down. Pour coffee into a jar. Add the pure vanilla extract and vodka. Stir well.

If you prefer to use vanilla bean instead of vanilla extract, split one bean lengthwise and add it to the coffee. Remove the vanilla bean after four weeks.

Aging, Straining, And Drinking Your Coffee Liqueur Recipe

Let recipe steep for a miniumun of one month in a cool dark place, agititating often, after one month it should be thoroughly infused.

Next step strain the liquid and fruit through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you cangently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Coffee Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

You now need a bottle, and a label, that is cool enough to compliment your hard work. Honestly if it looks good people will rave about it. If you put it into a cheap bottle people will make fun of you.

– measuring cups (liquid and dry)
– metal strainer
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
