Blueberry Rum Liqueur Recipe!

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Blueberry Rum Liqueur D.I.Y. Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Blueberry Rum Liqueur Recipe in the world.

Ingredients:

Step 1
  • 11/2 lbs of Fresh Blueberry
  • 3 Cups of rum
Step 2
  • 3 Cups of Water
  • 11/2 Cup of Sugar

Directions

Step 1

Sift through the blackberries removing any over ripe or moldy berries then wash them.

Gently wash them and dry them with paper towels.

Place all the blackberries in a glass jar or bowl, and crush them with a wooden spoon. Then add the vodka and stir well.

Pour your juice together with the rum into a glass container and store the jar in a cool place away from sunlight for one month.

Aging and Straining Your Blueberry Rum Liqueur

Let liqueur age for 6 weeks in a cool dark place.

While the liqueur is aging, give the jar a good shake once or twice a week to agitate and enhance the infusion.

After 6 weeks of infusing, it’s time to strain your liqueur.

Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan stir in sugar slowly keep on stiring till fully dissolved taking care not to burn the sugar.

Turn off fire let cool then add to liqueur slowly tasting all the while till its sweetened to taste.

Otherwise you can go straight to bottling.

Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals looking for a Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur?

You now have no reason to look any further, you have just found what you are looking for! This is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur in the world.

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups dark rum (80 proof)
  • 1 vanilla bean (Madagascar or Bourbon), split
  • 6 prunes, coarsely chopped
  • 1¾ cups pure maple syrup, preferably grade B

Directions

Split your vanilla bean chop up your prunes and combined with the rest of your ingredients in your container close and shake.

Aging and Straining Your Maple Syrup Rum Liqueur

Let liqueur age for 6 weeks in a cool dark place.

While the liqueur is aging, give the jar a good shake once or twice a week to agitate and enhance the infusion.

After 6 weeks of infusing, it’s time to strain your liqueur.

Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice (the fourth photo).

After straining, you can discard all of the rind, pulp and any spice.

Strain back into the large container if you are going to do step 2.

Otherwise you can go straight to bottling.

Caribbean Banana Rum Liqueur Recipe

Ingredients
Step 1
  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups light rum
Step 2
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup turbinado sugar

Directions

Cut your bananas in to thick slices.

Put them into a large glass container with a lid on and pour make sure the banana is completely submerged.

Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Liqueur

Let recipe steep for a miniumun of 2-3 days in a cool dark place agititating daily.

Next step strain the liquid and fruit through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to you can strain your Banana Rum Liqueur one more time through a coffee strainer.

Step 2

Boil up the water in a saucepan and stir in your sugar making sure it doesnt burn when it has all dissolved shut off the fire and let cool.

After it has cooled stir in slowly to your liqueur tasting all the while till its to your liking.
