Blackberry Infused Vodka Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Blackberry Infused Vodka Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Blackberry Infused Vodka Recipe in the world.

Ingredients:

Step 1
  • 11/2 lbs of Fresh Blackberries
  • 3 Cups of vodka
Step 2
  • 3 Cups of Water
  • 11/2 Cup of Sugar

Directions

Step 1

Sift through the blackberries removing any over ripe or moldy berries then wash them.

Gently wash them and dry them with paper towels.

Place all the blackberries in a glass jar or bowl, and crush them with a wooden spoon. Then add the vodka and stir well.

Pour your juice together with the rum into a glass container and store the jar in a cool place away from sunlight for one month.

Aging and Straining Your Blackberry Infused Vodka

Let liqueur age for 6 weeks in a cool dark place.

While the liqueur is aging, give the jar a good shake once or twice a week to agitate and enhance the infusion.

After 6 weeks of infusing, it’s time to strain your liqueur.

Carefully strain the liquid through several layers of cheesecloth. It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan stir in sugar slowly keep on stiring till fully dissolved taking care not to burn the sugar.

Turn off fire let cool then add to liqueur slowly tasting all the while till its sweetened to taste.

Otherwise you can go straight to bottling.

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Blackberry Sage Liqueur Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further!

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 12 oz. Blackberries
  • ¼ cup Sage
  • 1 1/4 cup of vodka or spirit
  • 1 1/4 cups of Filtered water
Step 2
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Place sage on a cutting board and bruise place into your container add blackberries and crush with back of a spoon add the vodka and water (you can use less water for a stronger drink) close and shake.

Aging And Straining

Let steep for 24 hours.

Get your cheesecloth to filter it helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Step 2

Make your simple syrup by bringing your water to a boil then add the sugar and stirring till it is all dissolved.

Let the syrup cool down completely.

Pour into your jar slowly tasting all the while till it is to your liking.

 large plastic bowl
– paring knife
– vegetable peeler  (or knife)
– measuring cups (liquid and dry)
– metal strainer
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.

Blackberry Mead Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals!

Are you looking for an awesome Blackberry Mead Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further; you have just found what you have been looking for!

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs of blackberries
  • 3 lbs of wildflower honey
  • 1 or 2 whole allspice seed, cracked
  • 1 or 2 whole cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 of a lemon, chopped
  • 1/2 packet of Lalvin D-47 or other brewing yeast)

Directions

Step 1
  • 1 or 2 whole allspice seed, cracked
  • 1 or 2 whole cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 of a lemon, chopped

Grab a large stockpot and heat just under 1 gallon of water to just about boiling. Throw in the allspice, clove, and lemon while it heats bring to a boil then turn off.

Step 2
  • 3 pounds, Wildflower Honey

Add after the flame is off for 15 min stir well.

After .

Step 3
  • 2-3 lbs of blackberries

Place the berries in carboy and crush.

Pour the honey mixture into carboy and let cool (or use a wort chiller if you have one) stir all together.

Step 4
  • yeast

Prepare a 1L yeast starter by stirring the yeast into the water then let mixture stand in cup for 15 minutes. Don’t start making yeast starter till mead has cooled.

Make sure it is bubbling and then you will add it to your mead after the mead has cooled.

Bring the water up to a gallon.

Add the yeast at the temperature recommended on the packet .

After 24-48 hours it should start bubbling.

Fermentation Through Bottling Your blackberry Mead Recipe

Put into primary carboy to ferment and aerate.

Make sure your carboy is around a third empty leaving space for frothing and foaming.

Let it ferment. Rack the mead off the fruit to your secondary carboy after 6-7 days when the frothing has slowed down.

Let ferment for 4 more weeks in the secondary then bottle.

After you wait for the second time you will bottle the beer sterilize and then bottle and cap again siphon slowly so that that sediments don’t get mixed in.

Set aside and let age.
