Strawberry Infused Mezcal Recipe D.I.Y.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of strawberries
  • 3 cups of mezcal

Instructions

Clean and remove the strawberry heads than dice and add to your jar.

Pour in your mezcal make sure the strawberries are completely submerged close and shake.

Aging And Straining

Seal the container and let steep in a cool, dry place for 1 week.

Get your cheesecloth to filter, it helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Hibiscus Infused Mezcal Recipe D.I.Y.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 25 grams of hibiscus (fresh or dry)
  • 3 cups of mezcal
Step 2 optional
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Combined in your container close and shake.

Aging And Straining

Seal the container and let steep in a cool, dry place for 4 hours.

Get your cheesecloth to filter it helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Making your simple syrup, put a saucepan on the flame pour in water and bring to a boil stir in sugar keep on stirring until sugar has dissolved. Let the syrup cool down completely.

Pour in the simple syrup slowly tasting all the while till its sweetened to your liking.

Roasted Pineapple Infused Mezcal Recipe D.I.Y.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 1 pineapple
  • 3 cups of mezcal

Instructions

Clean core and chop your pineapple into one-inch cube.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Place the pineapple on an unlined nonstick baking sheet and roast for one hour (or until slightly browned). Let cool.

– saucepan
– small funnel

Directions

  • Place the cacao beans and mezcal into your jar. When you pour in the mezcal make sure all the cacao nibs are covered in mezcal. If you need to add in some more mezcal, close the container.

Aging, Straining, Filtering, and Drinking Your Cacao Mezcal Liqueur

Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for a minimum of 2 weeks.

After the allotted time of aging, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

It always helps when you moisten the cheesecloth first, it enables the liquid to permeate more smoothly saving you some precious liqueur.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.
