Step 1
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 3 cups of apple brandy


Pour your apple brandy in to your container.

In a large saucepan, melt 2 sticks of unsalted butter over medium heat.

Cook in an medium heat stirring occasionally, keep cooking until the foam subsides and it starts to turn brown.

Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Pour the butter slowly into the container that already has the apple brandy in it.

Aging And Straining

Place your butter infused apple jack into the fridge for 24 hours.

After 24 hours use a fork to skim off the top the solidified butter.

Then strain the apple brandy through a coffee filter a cheesecloth this time wont be fine enough.
