Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Place all the ingredients besides the vodka in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil and then leave on a simmer for 5 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Remove from the heat. Let the mixture cool completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Remove all the large solids from the syrup mixture, and pour the syrup into a quart jar or other glass container. Add the vodka to your jar, seal and agitate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for 1week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After 1 week or so of aging, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It helps to moisten the cheesecloth\nfirst so the liquid permeates more smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you get to the point where you\nhave strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract\nall of the liquid and juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you still need to strain your\nliqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through\na coffee strainer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You now need a bottle and a label\nwhich are cool enough to compliment your hard work. Honestly, if you put it\ninto a cheap bottle, people will make fun of you.
