Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Date Liqueur D.I.Y. Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Date Liqueur Recipe in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. 10 ounces of organic pitted dates<\/a><\/li>
  2. 18 ounces of Vodka<\/li>
  3. 5 ounces of honey<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Utensils<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I am listing the simplest utensils that you can use, the ones mom should have already have in the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


    Utensils<\/strong>:
    \u2013 
    A large glass jar<\/a> (I used a 3 liter jar)
    \u2013
     large plastic bowl<\/a>
    \u2013 
    paring knife<\/a>
    \u2013 
    vegetable peeler <\/a> (or knife)
    \u2013 
    measuring cups<\/a> (liquid and dry)
    \u2013 
    metal strainer<\/a>
    \u2013 
    cheesecloth<\/a>
    \u2013 
    saucepan<\/a>
    \u2013 
    small funnel<\/a>
    \u2013 
    glass bottles<\/a>, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one. 

    Notes on Utensils:
    Avoid plastic as much as possible when working with strong alcohol. Glass is always preferable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Directions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Sterilize the large jar, either in boiling water or running through the dishwasher rinse cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now Cut up 10 ounces of pitted dates into small pieces and place in a glass jar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cover with 18 ounces of 100 proof vodka and let sit on the shelf for a three or 4 days. Pour the mixture into a bowl and mash with a masher until pulp comes out of skins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Place the mixture back in the glass jar and let it set for 3 or 4 more days. Strain through a piece of cheesecloth into a clear jar. Add 5 ounces of honey, cover and shake until the honey disolves ( I heat the honey in the microwave to make this task a little easier ). Decant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
