Orange Infused Whiskey Recipe D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals,

Are you Looking for an awesome Orange Infused Whiskey Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Orange Infused Whiskey in the world.

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 3 navel oranges
  • 3 cups of Whiskey
Step 2
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar

Directions

Gently peel the Orange rind from the orange. Be really careful to avoid the bitter pith, using an organic Orange is a must you don’t want any fruit wax in your infusion.

Put peel into your bottle and and then pour in your sugar and whiskey.

Aging, Straining, And Drinking Your Orange Infused Whiskey

Shake well and store away from sunlight, in a cool and dry pace agitating and shaking every other day for 1 week.

After the aging/steeping process is done, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point of where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to do to lack of clarity in your liqueur, you can strain your Gin one more time through a coffee strainer.

Step 2

Pour the cup of water into a pot bring to a boil and stir in the sugar keep on stirring till all the sugar has dissolved let cool then pour into your gin tasting all the while till its to taste.

Orange Infused Bourbon D.I.Y.

Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Orange Infused Bourbon D.I.Y.? You now have no reason to look any further! This is a recipe you are sure to enjoy!

Ingredients

Step 1
  • 6 oranges
  • 3 cups of bourbon
Step 2
  • 1 cup of white granulated sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

Step 1

Clean the orange peel really well to remove pesticide’s then peel and put peels in jar . Next pour in your bourbon make sure all the blueberries are submerged cover and shake.

Aging And Straining

Seal the container and let steep in a cool, dry place for 3 days.

Get your cheesecloth to filter it helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.

Step 2 optional

Make your syrup, put a saucepan on the flame pour in water and bring to a boil stir in sugar keep on stirring until sugar has dissolved. Let the syrup cool down completely.

Pour into a jar and let it rest in a dark place for another 15 days.
When the 15 days are up, filter it again and bottle it up.

Orange Bourbon Liqueur Recipe D.I.Y.

  • Peel of 3 Navel orange’s
  • 3 cups of bourbon

Utensils Tips

Utensils:
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for bottling and serving, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one. 

Directions

Peel the orange, try to make sure that you do not have a lot of the white pith (the pith can be bitter) put the peel in your jar.

Pour in the vodka making sure all of the peek is covered in alcohol. If you need to add in some more vodka, close the container.

Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Orange Bourbon Liqueur

Shake well and store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place for a minimum of 4 weeks.

After 4 weeks or more of aging, strain your liqueur through several layers of cheesecloth.

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.
