Hey Guys and Gals, are you Looking for an awesome Date Infused Vodka Recipe? You now have no reason to look any further! You have just found what you have been looking for, this is a recipe for the most awesome tasting Date Infused Vodka in the world.

Ingredients:

  • 9 ounces of organic pitted dates
  • 2 cups of Vodka
  • 4 ounces of honey

Utensils

I am listing the simplest utensils that you can use, the ones mom should have already have in the kitchen.

Utensils:
– A large glass jar (I used a 3 liter jar)
 large plastic bowl
– paring knife
– vegetable peeler  (or knife)
– measuring cups (liquid and dry)
– metal strainer
– cheesecloth
– saucepan
– small funnel
– glass bottles, or storage containers, for the final product, you can either use the glass Jar you used before, or just buy a second one.

Notes on Utensils:
Avoid plastic as much as possible when working with strong alcohol. Glass is always preferable.

Directions

Sterilize the large jar, either in boiling water or running through the dishwasher rinse cycle.

Now Cut up and pit the dates and place in a glass jar.

Cover with vodka and let sit on the shelf for a three or 4 days. Pour the mixture into a bowl and mash with a masher until pulp comes out of skins.

Place the mixture back in the glass jar and let it set for 3 or 4 more days. Strain through a piece of cheesecloth into a clear jar.

Add honey, cover and shake until the honey disolves ( I heat the honey in the microwave to make this task a little easier ). Decant.

Congratulations, You Have Completed Making this Awesome Date Infused Vodka Recipe!

You now need a bottle and a label which are cool enough to compliment your hard work. Honestly, if you put it into a cheap bottle, people will make fun of you. BUT, if it looks good, people will rave about it!
