Pumpkin Spice Moonshine Recipe

Ingriedients

Step 1
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 t ground ginger
  • 1t nutmeg
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 t ground cloves
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 1 gallon of apple cider
Step 2
  • 2 cups moonshine or everclear liquor
  • a cup of vodka

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot combined all of the ingredients in step 1.

Bring to a boil and then turn to medium heat and simmer on low for 30 minutes. Turn off fire and allow to cool.

Step 2

Add the moonshine and vodka to this mixture, pour in slowly while tasting all the while to make sure that it is to your liking.

Bottling, Aging, Straining, filtering, and Drinking Your Pumpkin Spice Moonshine Recipe

Fill some mason jars with this mix. Put them in the fridge for the perfect taste wait 2 weeks.

Optional

After 2 weeks strain the liquid through a cheesecloth squeezing the pulp gently. (don’t do all at once make sure you like the taste when filtered)

It helps to moisten the cheesecloth first so the liquid permeates more smoothly.

Once you get to the point where you have strained everything out, you can gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the remaining liquid and juice.

If you still need to strain your liqueur further due to lack of clarity, you can strain it 1 more time through a coffee strainer.
